Key Responsibilities
- Examine patients’ eyes and vision to detect diseases, defects, or injuries
- Diagnose and treat eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, infections, and retinal disorders
- Perform medical and surgical procedures related to eye care
- Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging related to ophthalmology
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
- Educate patients about eye health, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Follow hospital policies, ethical guidelines, and clinical protocols
- Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and attend CME programs
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS with MS/DNB in Ophthalmology
Experience : 1- 4 years
