CONSULTANT OPHTHALMOLOGY

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine patients’ eyes and vision to detect diseases, defects, or injuries
  • Diagnose and treat eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, infections, and retinal disorders
  • Perform medical and surgical procedures related to eye care
  • Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging related to ophthalmology
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
  • Educate patients about eye health, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Follow hospital policies, ethical guidelines, and clinical protocols
  • Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and attend CME programs

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS with MS/DNB in Ophthalmology

Experience : 1- 4 years
